Typeline Privacy Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

What Typeline stores

Typeline is an app for adding text to photos. It stores your current draft (a copy of the photo and its text layers) only on your iPhone, inside the app. We do not have a server that receives it, and we cannot see it. If your iPhone backup is turned on, it is included in your iCloud or computer backup like any other app's data, under Apple's control. Deleting the app deletes this data.

What leaves your iPhone

• Editing and exporting happen entirely on your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded. All fonts are built into the app.
• Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. It receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts from Apple, not your name, email or anything you create in the app.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up.
• No advertising and no ad SDKs.
• No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites.
• We never sell or share personal data.

Permissions

• Photos: to pick a photo, and (only when you tap Save) to add the finished image to your library.

You can change any permission in the iPhone Settings app at any time.

Children

Typeline is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes
