Spoonmark Privacy Policy
Last updated October 22, 2026
The short version: Spoonmark has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. What you put in the app stays on your iPhone.
What Spoonmark stores
Spoonmark is a recipe keeper, meal planner and grocery list. It stores your recipes, photos you add, your meal plan and grocery lists only on your iPhone, inside the app. We do not have a server that receives it, and we cannot see it. If your iPhone backup is turned on, it is included in your iCloud or computer backup like any other app's data, under Apple's control. Deleting the app deletes this data.
What leaves your iPhone
- When you share or paste a recipe link, Spoonmark downloads that page directly from the website so it can read the ingredients and steps. The website sees an ordinary page request from your iPhone, like opening it in Safari. Nothing else is sent, and we never see which pages you save.
- On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, tidying up an imported recipe uses Apple's on-device model. The text does not leave your iPhone.
- Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. It receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts from Apple, not your name, email or anything you create in the app.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-up.
- No advertising and no ad SDKs.
- No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites.
- We never sell or share personal data.
Permissions
- Photos / Camera (optional): only to choose or take a picture for a recipe.
You can change any permission in the iPhone Settings app at any time.
Children
Spoonmark is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
