Gramgoal Privacy Policy

What Gramgoal stores

Gramgoal is a daily protein tracker. It stores your protein log, daily goal, saved foods, reminder setting and the profile you enter to calculate a goal (weight, training days) only on your iPhone, inside the app. We do not have a server that receives it, and we cannot see it. If your iPhone backup is turned on, it is included in your iCloud or computer backup like any other app's data, under Apple's control. Deleting the app deletes this data.

What leaves your iPhone

• When you scan a barcode, Gramgoal sends only the barcode number to Open Food Facts, a free public food database, to look up protein per serving. Nothing about you is sent with it. Products you have scanned are kept on your iPhone so they work offline afterwards.
• If you turn on Save to Apple Health, each entry is written to the Health app as dietary protein, and removed again if you delete it. Gramgoal does not read any Health data.
• The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your iPhone; no server is involved.
• Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. It receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts from Apple, not your name, email or anything you create in the app.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up.
• No advertising and no ad SDKs.
• No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites.
• We never sell or share personal data.

Permissions

• Camera (optional): only to scan barcodes.
• Apple Health (optional): write-only, dietary protein.
• Notifications (optional): the daily reminder.

You can change any permission in the iPhone Settings app at any time.

Children

Gramgoal is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
